The religion of the future will be a cosmic religion. It should transcend a personal God and avoid dogma and theology. Covering both the natural and the spiritual, it should be based on a religious sense arising from the experience of all things natural and spiritual as a meaningful unity. Buddhism answers this description. If there is any religion that could cope with modern scientific needs it would be Buddhism.

Det finns ingen annan, allt är Brahman, allt är ditt eget Jag. Alla andra som du uppfattar är endast sinnet, vilket är falskt och illusoriskt utan någon substans. Det finns inga externa objekt, allt är Ett. Sinnet är också Brahman, även om det verkar annorlunda. Detta som "verkar" är Maya. Existensen av Maya är illusorisk, och, precis som ormen, när vi inser detta så ser vi att det aldrig var det minsta verkligt, det var alltid Brahman, alltid ett rep.
Sök inne i dig själv, analysera ditt sinne. Se inte andra, de är inte där. I verkligheten finns bara ditt eget sinne, så se ditt sinne, se hur det är.
Upplevelsen att vi är bundna av sinnet händer på samma gång som befrielsen från dess kedjor. Med andra ord så ser vi med noggrann observation av våra tankar att det inte finns någon riktig länk mellan tankarna och oss själva, och kedjorna som verkade vara där har då försvunnit.
Maya, den illusoriska kedjan mellan våra tankar och vårt Jag, kan inte förstås av sinnet, men det kan överskridas. Självrealisation är en verklighet, inte en filosofi eller en intellektuell övning.
Allt som kan sägas är att det finns existens och att den är Ett. Detta kan kännas och upplevas. Denna upplevelse är frihet. Lösningen finns inne i dig själv.
Att observera, döma och kritisera agerandet av andra är att medvetet eller omedvetet söka efter lösningen på dina problem på utsidan. Det är att söka en lösning genom att modifiera något aspekt av den yttre världen. Men lösningen går endast att finna genom insikten att alla aspekter och alla sinnestillstånd, allting som vi förnimmer, är ingående oäkta och inte på något sätt förenat med dig, med ditt sanna Jag. Denna insikt finns på insidan. Så observera hela världen, avfärda ingenting, men se det inte som någon annan eller något annat. Det är dig själv.
